Returnable loans:
Monograph: 2 weeks, 1 renewal
Serial: No loan
Renewals: Monographs, 1 renewal
Non-returnable copies: We allow print, ejournal and book chapter photocopies/scans. We deliver and receive copy requests via our contact email.
Media loans: We allow loans of DVDs, and audiodiscs but only within B.C. and requests are submitted/received by email not through SHAREit (Illume).
Not for loan: Archives; Reference; Reserve
Charges and fees
Non-returnable copy charges (outside of Illume): Both loan and copy requests are free for BC ELN partner libraries if processed via the ILLume system (SHAREit or ISO-partner software). For requests from outside B.C. the charges are $10.00 per request or reciprocal rates.
Renewals: We allow one renewal.
Replacement charges: Cost of item plus $15 processing charge.
Late fees: None
Invoice payments: Invoices follow delivery of request. Invoices for receipt of requests should be sent to ill@vcc.ca.
